Getting started and common questions
Which browsers and devices can I use with Applyy?
Use desktop Chrome with the Applyy extension for supported autofill. You can use the web workspace on your phone to find and save jobs, track applications, and review materials, then continue on desktop when you want autofill.
- For employer-form autofill, install the extension in desktop Chrome and check that it is Connected.
- On a phone, use the mobile-to-desktop workflow, or apply manually with documents you have reviewed.
- If a website feature fails in your browser, contact the team with the browser, device, and page.
Safari, Firefox, and mobile browsers
The desktop Chrome extension does not run in Safari, Firefox, mobile Chrome, or an iPhone Home Screen web app. Opening the website is separate from having supported autofill.
Edge, Brave, and Opera
Applyy has not certified its extension for these browsers. Chrome Web Store access alone does not establish compatibility. Additional extensions are possible future work, with no promised release date.
How do I add Applyy to my iPhone Home Screen?
Add Applyy to your iPhone Home Screen for quicker access in an app-like window. Open Applyy in Safari to get started.
- Open applyy.io directly in Safari, rather than inside an email or social app.
- Tap Share. Depending on your Safari toolbar, open More first, then Share.
- Choose Add to Home Screen, name it Applyy, keep Open as Web App on if shown, and tap Add.
- Open the new Applyy icon and sign in if asked. Stay online for saved account work and AI features.
Can’t find Add to Home Screen?
Scroll through the Share actions and use Edit Actions to add it if available. Apple’s illustrated guide shows the current menus; placement varies with your iOS version.
Autofill stays on desktop
This adds the web app, not an App Store download or the desktop extension. Use the mobile-to-desktop workflow when you are ready for supported autofill.
How do I add Applyy to my Android Home Screen?
Add an Applyy icon to your Android Home Screen so you can reopen the web workspace quickly. Open Applyy in Chrome, then install the web app or create a shortcut from Chrome’s menu.
- Open applyy.io directly in Chrome on Android, outside an embedded browser.
- Open the three-dot menu and choose Install and create shortcut. In other Chrome versions, look for Add to home screen.
- Choose Install if offered, or Create shortcut. Confirm the name Applyy and finish the prompts.
- Open the new icon and sign in if asked. Use an internet connection for saved account work and AI features.
This adds the web experience
Home Screen installation does not install Applyy’s desktop autofill extension. Continue with the mobile-to-desktop workflow when you need supported autofill.
What can I do on mobile, and how do I continue on desktop?
Find and save a role on your phone, then pick it up in Tracker on your computer using the same Applyy account. Mobile is useful for discovery, quick decisions, and reviewing materials; supported employer-form autofill uses desktop Chrome.
- On your phone, open Search, review a role, and save it. You can find it in Tracker.
- Finish saving any edits before switching devices.
- On desktop Chrome, sign in to the same account, open Tracker, and review the role’s documents.
- Use the connected extension for supported autofill, then check the employer form before submitting. You can also apply manually with your reviewed documents.
What should I do first in Applyy?
Start with your experience and the roles you want. Once those are in place, you can find a promising job, save it, and prepare its materials. You can do the initial setup on mobile and add desktop Chrome autofill when you need it.
- Open Evidence Library to upload a readable resume or add your professional experience.
- Set your target roles and preferences in Search Preferences, then review your reusable answers in Application Details.
- Open Search, review a promising role, and save it to Tracker.
- Review the role’s materials, then install the desktop Chrome extension when you are ready to autofill a supported application.
Find your way around
Use the workspace guide if you are unsure where a document, preference, or career fact belongs.
What data does Applyy use, and how is it protected?
Applyy uses your profile, documents, job information, and support requests to provide the features you choose. It does not sell or rent personal information. Read the privacy policy for how information is collected, used, and shared.
- Review the privacy policy before adding sensitive information or connecting a provider.
- Check the information and documents on each employer form before you submit, and sign out when using a shared device.
- For an account-specific privacy question, contact the team or email privacy@applyy.io. Leave out passwords and access keys.
How access is protected
Applyy uses HTTPS and account access controls. Account data is not end-to-end encrypted: authorized Applyy staff and service providers may access it when needed to operate, secure, or support the service.
AI and support
Relevant information may be processed by the AI provider for a feature you request. The chat assistant cannot inspect or change your account; a support request retains the message you send so the team can follow up.
Extension permissions
The extension uses approved profile answers and documents on supported application pages. It does not require browsing-history permission.
Will Applyy submit applications for me?
You decide when an application is submitted. Applyy helps prepare your documents and fill supported employer forms, then stops before final submission.
- Prepare and review the job’s documents in Tracker, then use autofill on a supported employer form.
- Check every field and attachment, including work authorization, consent, salary, and custom screening answers.
- Use the employer’s final submission button only when you are ready. Keep its confirmation for your records.
Saved is not submitted
Saving a job, generating documents, or filling a form does not send an application to the employer.
How do I get help from a person?
To get help from the Applyy team, contact the team and send a support request. You can write the message directly or use the assistant to help prepare it. The team replies to the email you provide.
- Open Contact and describe what happened, what you expected, and the relevant page or job URL.
- Check your contact email and message. Add the exact error or relevant screenshots if they help explain the issue.
- Choose Send support request and wait for the confirmation. Keep the ticket reference when one is shown.
Chat and tickets are different
Chatting with the assistant does not create a ticket. The assistant can explain product guidance and prepare a draft, but cannot inspect or change your account, submit an employer application, or promise a resolution.
