Original Applyy research
Fortune 1000 hiring platform research.
A May 2026 audit of 1,000 employer career paths, with detected platform layers, evidence gaps, and review flags left visible.
Research summary
- 1,000 employer career paths reviewed
- 457 rows with an ATS endpoint category
- 940 rows retained for manual review
What the May 2026 dataset contains
The complete pass contains one row for each Fortune-ranked employer in the working source list. Each row can retain the company site, careers landing page, job-search path, sample job detail, sample application handoff, detected career-site layer, detected ATS endpoint, evidence URL, confidence, redirect chain, and review reason.
The snapshot was generated on May 24, 2026. Employer pages and platform configurations change, so the dataset is evidence for a specific audit date rather than a permanent directory.
What the first complete pass found
An ATS endpoint category was assigned on 457 of 1,000 rows across 17 detected categories. The largest audit counts were Workday with 207 rows, iCIMS with 60, SuccessFactors with 55, Oracle with 52, Taleo with 17, and UKG with 15.
These counts should not be read as definitive market share. A total of 940 rows retained a manual-review flag because public pages, sample jobs, redirects, or platform fingerprints were incomplete or ambiguous. Applyy keeps that uncertainty in the dataset instead of converting weak evidence into a confident label.
- Workday: 207 ATS endpoint detections
- iCIMS: 60
- SuccessFactors: 55
- Oracle: 52
- Taleo: 17
- UKG: 15
The career-site layer and ATS endpoint are not always the same
A branded careers experience can sit in front of a different applicant tracking system. The audit therefore records the visible career-site platform separately from the downstream ATS endpoint when the public evidence supports both layers.
The career-site layer was assigned on 353 rows across 19 detected categories. The largest counts were Workday with 121, Phenom with 67, TalentBrew with 35, Eightfold with 26, and iCIMS and Oracle with 23 each. A blank layer means the pass did not establish a category, not that the employer has no career site or ATS.
How this research changes the product
Applyy uses the source map to prefer direct employer and ATS paths, prioritize new discovery adapters, choose no-submit browser-extension fixtures, and route uncertain rows back to manual review. The operational goal is not to publish the largest platform list. It is to reach a current employer-controlled application path and stop safely when the path is unclear.
Platform-level support still does not guarantee that every employer form will behave the same way. Employers add custom questions, account gates, file rules, and branded layers that require separate validation.
Limits and reproducibility
This public summary is derived from the checked-in May 24, 2026 audit output. Counts are grouped by the detected ATS endpoint and career-site platform fields. Blank values, confidence scores, review reasons, and the distinction between the two platform layers are preserved in the source process.
The downloadable summary contains the grouped counts used on this page. Questions, corrections, and requests for a newer snapshot can be sent to jobs@applyy.io.
